Utility Knives
A utility knife is a medium-size knife of designed for a wide range of cutting duties. Generally too short and thin for heavier cutting tasks most home cooks use them a a multipurpose knife that can cover a variety of tasks. Utility knives can either have a plain edge blade or a serrated blade, some of which are considered tomato knives,and their blades are usually between 10 cm and 18 cm (4 and 7 inches) long.
